Ottawa paramedics say a 54-year-old woman is recovering in hospital after being pinned under a pickup truck Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to Marier Road near Beechwood Avenue just before 9:30 a.m. Paramedics say when they arrived part of the woman's body was still under the vehicle.
She was treated for serious leg injuries and taken to hospital.
Police are investigating.
