Etienne Marcoux stood tall in the Blainville-Boisbriand net Friday as the Armada held off the Gatineau Olympiques 4-2.

The visiting Armada (24-18-2-1) scored the first three goals from Raphael Pouliot, Xavier Ouellet and a shorthanded marker from Matt Provost (his first of the year).

Three-and-a-half minutes after Provost scored, Gatineau (18-19-4-4) answered with Tomas Hyka's 16th of the year.

Kyle Morrison then scored on the power play in the third period to bring the Olympiques within one, but Marc-Olivier Roy added the insurance goal with just under four minutes to play.

Marcoux made 37 saves as his team was outshot 39-24.

Gatineau went one for five on the power play, but did give up that shorthanded goal.

Blainville-Boisbriand didn't score on their only two power plays.
