Ottawa police are looking for a man suspected of stealing credit cards then used them at a grocery store near Bank St. and Hunt Club Rd.
Police say on June 30, a man approached another man in the ByWard Market area around 3:00 a.m. and began chatting with him.
The suspect then directed the alleged victim to empty his pocket and give him his wallet. No injuries were reported.
Around 4:20 a.m. that same night, the suspect went to a grocery store in the 2200 block of Bank St. near Hunt Club Rd., where police say he used the victims’ credit cards to make several purchases.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 5’6”, 150 pounds, in his 20s with brown hair.
