An Ottawa police sergeant who arranged unauthorized traffic escorts for his motorcycle club last September has been docked a week's pay .
Stuart Feldman pleaded guilty earlier this month to discreditable conduct and insubordination.
He was serving as president of the Ottawa Chapter of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club when he arranged for on-duty police traffic officers to accompany a small group of riders in town for a conference on two leisure rides.
The officer in charge of Feldman's hearing found his misuse of police resources and lack of regard for public safety in order to benefit his motorcycle club would damage the reputation of the Ottawa police service. (CFRA)
