An Ottawa couple has died following a fiery crash on Highway 7 around 5 p.m.on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016.
The collision happened just west of Kaladar, Ont. when a tractor trailer hit their SUV head-on.
70-year-old Brian Ward and 67-year-old Mary Ward were pronounced dead at the scene.
The 59-year-old driver of the truck was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Highway 7 remained closed until this Monday while crews removed the steel load from that tractor trailer.
