A gas station owner in east Ottawa says he’s fed up with people paying so much for gas that he’s going to drop the price at his Orleans station to $109.9/litre on Mon. May 12 between 3 and 4 p.m.
Eddie Jeha from W.O. Stinson & Son Ltd. on Innes Road says he realizes he may lose a bit of money by lowering the price but says he’s doing it to send a message.
He says he doesn’t understand why prices are so high, and that it only hurts the consumer in the end.
