Ottawa paramedics say a 26-year-old woman was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition following a crash in Orleans Friday night.

It happened at Jeanne D’Arc Blvd. and Sapinier St. just before 9 p.m.

Paramedics say a car and SUV collided.

Paramedics say the woman was trapped in her vehicle for about 40 minutes before she was extricated.

Paramedics say she had possible leg, arm and pelvic fractures, as well as a possible neck and back injury.

The passenger in the car and driver of the SUV were not injured.
