It was a walk home from the post office that turned dangerous for Kemptville mother Jennifer Lowe.

“Out of nowhere, when we got to here, the car just hit us,” said Lowe.

Lowe was pushing her four and a half month old daughter Millie in the stroller along Clothier Street Tuesday afternoon when a vehicle pulling out of a parking lot struck the stroller.

“My daughter went flying into the middle of the road in her car seat,” Lowe said.

Her daughter wasn’t injured but the terrifying ordeal was made worse by the fact the driver just drove away, Lowe said.

Lowe said the suspect was driving a black vehicle and is described as white with brown, shaggy hair and was wearing a Blue Jays baseball hat.

UPDATE: As a result of an OPP investigation, police have determined there was no collision between the vehicle, the baby stroller, and the person pushing the stroller.
