Ottawa Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a bank robbery on Preston Street.

Police says around 3:40 pm on June 16, the suspect walked into a bank on the 400 block of Preston Street near Norman Street. The suspect then stood in line and when approaching a customer service representative, the suspect demanded cash before fleeing the bank with an unknown amount of cash.

There were no reports of injuries.

The suspect is described as

  • Caucasian make
  • Approximately 35 years old
  • Medium height ad build
  • Brown hair
  • Unshaven with short beard and full moustache
  • Wearing grey pants, white runners, blue shirt, a white BB cap with a shamrock on the back, and mirrored sunglasses
