Police have charged two teenagers in relation to a shooting and stabbing incident in the ByWard Market on Saturday.

A 17-year-old Ottawa boy and 14-year-old girl from Gatineau face several gun-related charges after the incident at Dalhousie and Rideau streets.

Police were called to the scene and found three male victims with non-life-threatening injuries. One had been stabbed in the stomach and the other two had been shot.

Police said one of the officers saw a suspect pass a firearm to another.

Along with the two teenagers, one adult was charged with a drug-related offence. Two other people who were arrested on Saturday were released without charge.
