Ottawa Police are investigating two overnight shootings.

The first incident happened at 11:55 p.m. Thursday night in the Overbrook area.

Police were called to a home on Prince Albert Street after reports shots were fired while people were inside. No injuries were reported.

The second incident happened on Somerset Street West, west of Preston, around 1:53 a.m. There are no reports of injuries in that case either.

Police also say there is no evidence at this time that these shootings are linked. No one is in custody.

This marks the 56th and 57th shootings of the year.
