26-year-old female suffered a serious head injury in the area of Bank and Clarey Avenue after being hit by a vehicle on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016.

Ottawa Police say a woman is in critical condition in hospital after being hit by a vehicle in the area of Bank Street.

Police say it happened in the area of Bank and Clarey Avenue early Sunday morning.

Paramedics say the 26-year-old female suffered a serious head injury and was transported to hospital in critical condition.

Police continue to investigate.
