A 42-year old motorcyclist has died following a collision with a car on Tuesday, July 28, 2014.
Paramedics were called to Bathgate Drive near Montreal Road about 4:30 p.m.
They say the male motorcyclist was without vital signs. Efforts were made to revive the man on scene and in the ambulance but he was still without vital signs upon arrival at hospital.
The driver of the car, a man in his 50s, was treated for a hip injury and is reported to be in stable condition in hospital.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them. Bathgate Drive and Montreal Road were partially closed for several hours, but have since reopened.
