Ottawa police headquarters was shut down on Friday evening, after a man used a traffic barricade to strike and shatter several windows near the station's entrance.
The incident happened about 6pm Friday. Police surrounded a A 50-year old man, pinning him down and arresting him at the scene. Crews were quickly brought in to make repairs.
The station reopened Saturday morning. The investigation is ongoing.
