119 passengers aboard a VIA Rail train from Montreal to Ottawa and Toronto had to take a bus to Ottawa after a pedestrian was struck and killed on the tracks near Carlsbad Springs.
The collision happened around 6 p.m.
VIA Rail said no passengers or crew members on the train were injured.
VIA Rail said service had resumed by late Sunday evening.
