Ontario Provincial Police have charged the truck driver involved in Tuesday’s rollover on the 417 near Holly Acres.
The crash caused major delays along the eastbound lanes of the 417 for much of Tuesday afternoon. It happened around 12:30 p.m. on the 417 near near Holly Acres and Richmond Rd. after a dump truck crashed into an overpass and flipped on its side.
Ottawa paramedics say the 22-year-old male driver of the truck suffered minor injuries..
Engineers deemed the integrity of the overpass had not been compromised. The highway fully reopened early Tuesday evening.
Timmy Dumouchel, 22, of Quebec has been charged with one count of careless driving.
