A provincial judge has slapped fines against six Uber drivers charged under Ottawa's Taxi By-Law Act.
The six drivers plead guilty to charges including operating an unlicensed taxi business, and operating without a licensed taxi plate.
The drivers face fines totaling approximately $2,000.
Since Uber came to Ottawa, a total of 52 charges have been laid against 24 drivers.
