On April 16, 2014, at approximately 3:30 pm, a lone male entered a bank situated along the 500 block of Somerset Street West. The suspect, disguised with a scarf and sunglasses, immediately approached the counter and made a verbal demand for money. The suspect obtained an undisclosed quantity of cash from a bank employee and then also stole a quantity of cash from a customer standing at the counter. No weapon was seen. The suspect was last seen running west along Somerset Street. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, possibly 30-40 years, stocky build, wearing a black bomber-style coat, blue jeans, a black toque, a black scarf, and sunglasses.
