Ottawa Police are looking for three suspects after they say a man was robbed and beaten after being tricked by a woman asking for help at the side of a road south of Cumberland.

Police say the attack happened at about 5:30 pm. Saturday near O'Toole Road.

They describe the woman flagging a driver down and telling him her vehicle was around the corner.

When the would-be good samaritan arrived at the car, police say a man exited and the woman demanded his wallet.

The victim resisted and was allegedly attacked by the two, along with a third person.

The three escaped with cash and the victim needed to be treated in hospital.

Suspect Descriptions:

1. Caucasian female, early thirties, thin to medium build, 130 pounds (59 kg), dirty blonde, short spiky hair, mole on her face; spoke both English and French; was wearing white shorts, white t-shirt, white strap shoes.

2. Caucasian male, English speaking, approximately 5'6" (168 cm), muscular build, brown hair (brush cut and balding); wearing a brown sleeveless shirt.

There's no description for the third suspect.
