Ottawa police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a suspect wanted in connection with a violent beating on an OC Transpo bus last month.
They are looking for 20-year-old Tyjah Smith of Ottawa. The assault happened at around 1:15 a.m. pn Friday, Sept. 11 on OC Transpo bus 95.
The attack was recorded on video and posted to YouTube. It shows a man punching another man several times at the back of the bus. The victim appears to lose consciousness.
Smith is described as a black man, about 6’2,” 198 lbs. with short brown hair.
