Ottawa Police are investigating a pair of stabbings in Ottawa.
Police were called the York and Dalhousie area of the Byward Market just after 3 Friday morning after reports of a stabbing.
The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition. Police took one man into custody.
Ottawa paramedics say another man in his 50s was stabbed late Thursday night in the Hintonburg area, near Parkdale Ave. and Armstrong St.
Around 11:15 p.m., several police cars were at the scene as officers spoke with people inside and outside of the Carleton Tavern.
Paramedics say the victim was rushed to hospital in serious condition.
