Ottawa Police have released a video of a nighttime prowler CTV News has learned could be linked to the weekend break-in at the home of federal Liberal Party Leader Justin Trudeau.
Last weekend, an intruder broke into Trudeau's Rockcliffe home and left a threatening note along with a kitchen knife. Trudeau's wife and children were sleeping in the home at the time. Trudeau was in Winnipeg at the time of the incident.
Since the break-in, an RCMP security detail has been assigned to the Liberal Leader.
The break and enter unit of the Ottawa Police is investigating.
