Ottawa police have charged a man in connection to a robbery of a gas station back in February.

Nicholas Lester, 30 years old, of Pembroke, surrended himself to investigators and was charged with the following offences.

* Robbery with offensive weapon

* Carry concealed weapon

* Possess weapons dangerous

* Have face disguised

* Breach of probation

The robbery occurred on February 19, 2015, at approximately 1:35am. Police say a lone male suspect entered a gas station kiosk on Prince of Wales Drive. The suspect indicated he had a weapon and then obtained an undisclosed, but small, quantity of cash. He escape- but police later found a pocket knife nearby.

Lester is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
