Ottawa police are investigating after a man was shot in the leg in the city's west end on Monday, July 21, 2014.
It happened on Ritchie Street around 3 p.m.
It is the fourth time in a month a man has been shot in the legs.
Officers were at the scene on Ritchie St. scouring the neigbourhood for clues, and going door-to-door looking for witnesses.
They say they victim, a 20-year-old man, was shot once in the lower left leg, and was able to call 9-1-1 himself.
His injuries are not life-threatening, and police say his cooperation with police is "limited."
The shooting happened in front of the same community housing complex where 24-year-old Malik Adjokatcher was shot and killed in May 2013.
Police have offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in that case, but the murder remains unsolved.
This latest shooting comes after a man in his 20s was shot twice in the legs on Thursday, July 17, on Horsdal Private, in the city's south end.
The victim in that case is not cooperating with police.
Police are searching for a suspect in that case, 31-year-old Mohamed Abdi Abdullahi.
On July 1, a man went into the Ottawa hospital with gunshot wounds to each of his legs. He refused to cooperate with police.
And on June 22, a 24-year-old man was shot in each leg in the Byward Market. He was also uncooperative with police.
Police say there is nothing to suggest there is a direct connection between one or all of the shootings.
They are continuing to investigate, and asking anyone with information to contact them.
