A 36-year-old man has died after falling from a tree, then having a heavy tree branch land on top of him.
Ottawa paramedics say the man was a tree feller and was working on the tree in question when the incident took place.
Emergency workers were called to the 3600 block of Stonecrest Rd. around 1:30 p.m.
Paramedics aggressively tried to resuscitate the man, but he died at the scene.
An air ambulance had been called to the scene.
