A male cyclist is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning at Woodroffe Ave. and Knoxdale Rd.
Police say the incident happened around 2:45 a.m. The intersection was closed to all traffic for several hours, but reopened around 10:00 a.m.
Paramedics say a 19-year-old male is in hospital with life-threatening injuries. They say he was awake at the scene, but unconscious on route to the hospital.
Police say no charges have been laid.
Police are investigating and asking anyone who witnesses the collision to contact them.
