Missing Ottawa woman found safe in L.A.
Sarah-Jane Stavenow, age 26, told her family she was going for a job interview in Los Angeles before she disappeared.

Ottawa police confirm 26-year-old Sarah-Jane Stavenow has been found safe after having no contact with her family since November 16.
Stavenow’s relatives say she left the country for a job interview. There have been very few details as to why she has not been in touch since landing in Los Angeles.
Police say she will return home today.
This message was posted on a Facebook page with more than 9,000 members dedicated to help locating her:
“It is with great pleasure to tell you all incredible people that Sarah-Jane has been located…we are on our way to bring her home. She will need medical attention and the love of her friends and family…”
Tracy Lynn MacDowall Denault, who posted the Facebook message, says media will be contacted once Stavenow is home. She thanks everyone for their support.
