Ottawa Police continue to investigate after a shooting in the city’s south end.
It happened Sunday night around 7:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Brookfield Road.
Ottawa Police say a 27-year-old man was taken to hospital in critical condition after being shot in the chest. He underwent surgery on Monday.
A portion of the parking lot at Brookfield High School remains taped off as crews continue their search for evidence.
"They're still canvassing witnesses and speaking to those people who were there last night to try to identify who the suspects are," said Acting Insp. Mark Patterson.
