KINGSTON, Ont. -- Police have released the identity of a 24-year-old man believed to have drowned in a quarry in Kingston, Ont., on Sunday.

They say the body of Tylor Salter of Kingston was recovered on Monday.

Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the quarry on Sunday afternoon to investigate a suspected drowning.

Investigators say witnesses reported a man had gone underwater, but did not surface and had not been seen for approximately 10 minutes by the time first responders arrived.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
