ARNPRIOR, Ont. -- An Alberta man charged after his wife was struck and killed by a truck in a small community near Ottawa was released on bail Monday, Oct. 6, 2014.

Clive Mimnagh, 65, of Edmonton, appeared in court on a charge of dangerous driving causing death in connection with the death of his wife Thursday in Arnprior, Ont., west of Ottawa.

Both the Crown and defence lawyers agreed the incident was unintentional.

It's alleged the woman was struck and dragged by the pickup truck her husband was driving.

Pamela Mimnagh, 55, of Arnprior, was rushed to hospital where she died a short time later.

Clive Mimnagh has been ordered to abide by several bail conditions, including not having contact with his wife's family, except at the funeral on Thursday.
