Gatineau Police are looking for help identifying two men caught on video robbing a jewellery store.

Police say two men wearing blue jumpsuits, with white masks and safety goggles, entered the Trudel Jewellery store at 396 Buckingham Avenue around 1:40 p.m. June 6th.

One man, armed with a gun, ordered the clerk to back of the store. The second stood watch over the clerk, forcing him to sit on the floor and look at the ground, while the first suspect then used his gun to smash display cases, stealing several items. The men both spoke English.

Police say a significant amount of jewellery was stolen.

The first suspect is described by police as a white man, about 20 to 30 years old, appoximately 5'10" (175 cm) tall and 150 pounds (65 kg). The second suspect is described as a white man, about 50 years old, approximately 5'6" (167 cm) tall and roughly 150 pounds (65 kg).
