Fire crews battled a house fire on Saint-Raymond Boulevard at Rue Gratton, west of Saint Joseph Boulevard, in Gatineau today.
The fire broke out in the residential house just after 2 o’clock this afternoon.
Heavy, thick smoke could be seen in the air around the area.
Crews used ladders to get onto the roof to aggressively fight the blaze.
Nearby buildings were evacuated as a precaution.
