Cyclist struck by dump truck in west end

A teenage cyclist was seriously injured Tuesday morning when she was struck by a dump truck in the city's west end.

The girl was struck just before 8:30 a.m. at Poulin Avenue and Richmond Road., just west of Lincoln Fields mall.

She was taken to hospital with a broken leg, according to paramedics.

Police are investigating.
