A woman is dead after a two-vehicle crash east of Ottawa Thursday night.
Provincial police said the 53-year-old woman was in a four-door Nissan that collided with a westbound Mazda on County Road 17 east of Alfred just before 9 p.m.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the other driver was taken to the Hawkesbury General Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
OPP continue to investigate.
