BELLEVILLE, Ont. -- Charges laid against a Cornwall, Ont., man in connection with a fatal accident a year ago on Highway 401 have been withdrawn.
Provincial police charged Ravinder Singh, 26, with dangerous driving causing death and dangerous driving causing bodily harm after a transport struck collided with an SUV on Feb. 25, 2015, near Belleville, Ont.
Fifty-four-year-old Holly Jean of Mississauga, Ont., who had been sitting in the back of the SUV when it was hit, was killed in the collision.
Five other people suffered non life-threatening injuries.
