Ottawa Police have laid charges against two women in Saturday's homicide on Elmira Drive.
20-year-old Brianna Kennedy has been charged with one count of accessory after the fact to murder. 39-year-old Geneva Kennedy has been charged with one count of accessory of the fact to murder and one count of obstruct police.
The charges come nearly one week after 40-year-old Jacob Thompson was shot and killed on Elmira Drive in the city's 12th homicide of 2016.
Police say they are still looking for suspects.
