One person is homeless after an apartment fire in Ottawa’s south end.
Firefighters were called to Southvale crescent near Walkley and Russell road around 9 o'clock last night.
The fire was contained to a unit on the tenth floor of the apartment building.
Officials say it started in the kitchen.
Damage is estimated at 100 thousand dollars.
