As an Olympic gold medalist, Carolyn Waldo brings a unique perspective to her work as a sports reporter and anchor.

Carolyn was born in Montreal. She became a competitive synchronized swimmer and went on to win two gold medals at the Seoul Olympics in 1988. She was the first woman in Canadian history to win two gold medals at the same Olympic Games. She was also the team's flag-bearer that year. Carolyn is a recipient of the Order of Canada and was twice named Canadian Female Athlete of the Year. While training for the Olympics, Carolyn attended the University of Calgary and did some freelance reporting on the side. She was also a colour commentator and a reporter at the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona. She has been with CTV Sports since 1990.
