Data from Environment Canada shows there has been at least a trace of rain on 18 straight weekends in Ottawa dating back to March 25-26. Ottawa received 54 mm of rain over the Canada Day weekend.
Environment Canada’s forecast calls for mainly sunny skies today and Saturday. Ottawa will see a mix of sun and cloud on Sunday.
Ottawa has received 249.8 mm of rain so far in July. Environment Canada says the record for most rain in July is 250.2 mm, set back in 1899.
