A 13 year old cyclist has died after being struck by a SUV in Lochaber, Quebec Monday night.
Surete de Quebec says the boy was hit on route 148, about 50 kilometers east of Ottawa near Thurso.
They say the boy was riding in the middle of the roadway in the evening and was wearing dark clothes.
Police say there were no lights on the road, and they believe the driver did not see the boy.
No charges have been laid, but the investigation is ongoing.
