Right now in the Ottawa region more than 30-thousand people are fighting cancer.
Some are getting help dealing with the diagnosis and treatment from a Cancer Coach.
The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation's Maplesoft Centre has four coaches working with clients in hour-long sessions, guiding them through their cancer journey.
The coaching is paid for through the foundation's fundraising.
In the last three years Cancer Coaches at the Maplesoft Centre have helped 2,000 patients.
